呼吸控制  
Breath Control

瑜伽生活方式的核心是適當的呼吸。大多數人在年輕時,就轉變為淺層胸式呼吸,這並沒有充分利用肺部的能力。

瑜伽強調注意呼吸,並從小腹開始進行深而長的呼吸並充滿整個胸腔。這樣可以增加整個身體的肺活量和氧氣流量,從而潔淨心靈。通過適當的呼吸,我們可以達到身心合一之境。

Central to a yoga lifestyle is proper breathing. Most people become shallow chest breathers at young age, which doesn’t utilise the full capacity of the lungs. 

Yoga emphasizes attention to breath, and taking long, deep inhalations that begin in the lower abdomen and fill up the entire chest cavity. This increases lung capacity and oxygen flow throughout the body, which clears and cleanses the mind. One achieves unity of the body and mind through proper breathing.

放鬆 
Relaxation

通過適當的放鬆,可以獲得內心的平靜和精神上的清洗。

放鬆始於身體,通過釋放肌肉張力和緊張感來體現。然後,這會擴展到思想上,影響一個人的行為。

One achieves inner peace and spiritual cleansing through proper relaxation. 

Relaxation begins in the physical body, manifested through losing all tension within the muscles. This then extends to the mind, and positively affects one’s actions throughout the day.

功能性順位 
Functional Alignment 

順位是指您的關節於關節之間的關係,有一種特定的有效方式。良好的順位可以最大程度地減輕關節壓力,肌肉有效協調,從而實現高效運動。

功能性順位的提示語包括啟動特定的肌肉,刺激大腦該區域的樹突神經連接,使骨骼結構達致有效平衡支撐身體,對抗地心引力。

看待一個動作做得是否到位,順位,需要考慮改動作的目的、每個人身體的獨特性以及學習的階段,而不能單純地下定論,定對錯。

Alignment is a word that refers to the way that your joints position themselves in relation to each other. Good alignment places minimal strain on your joints for better muscle coordination and efficient movement.

Functional alignment cue involves isolating particular muscles in order to manipulate the bone structure back into balance through increasing the number of dendrite connections in the brain map for that region.

To check if we have the proper alignment, we need to consider the purpose of the posture, individual unique physical structures & stage of learning, we can't judge right or wrong only from outside physical expression.

自我觀察 
Self Observation

了解自己最核心的工具就是自我觀察。這是一種沒有語言的祈禱。這是一種行動中的冥想。

除非我們能了解自己,否則我們都被習性所驅使。我們必須觀察自己,而關地觀察我們的行為,以及我們內在外在的反應。

在瑜珈體式練習中,高度專注的自我觀察,可以帶動體內能量,提升意識,進入瑜珈之境。

The best tool to understand oneself is self observation. It is a form of prayer without words. It is meditation in action. 

Unless and until we come to know ourselves, we are driven by habits which we do not see and over which we have no control. we must observe ourselves, our behaviour, our inner and outer responses, objectively.  

In asana practice, observing oneself with intense focus, can activate the inner energy channel, raise consciousness,, and enter the state of yoga.
